A very funny feeling (TMI alert!!)
Hi all!
This is just weird. Imagine an empty paper towel tube. Now bend it. You know how it kinda goes "pop" when you do?
Well, every time I sit down (and I go carefully, mind you!) I have the feeling that my vagina is doing the same thing! Is this the cuff, is it normal, am I collapsing? I do walk quite a bit (overall thru the day, not all at once) and have been a good girl wrt the household chores. I will ask when I go in Wednesday but thought I'd send a feeler out and see what others have experienced.
No pain, no bleed, but it's definitely there. Sorry for the graphic description! Any ideas appreciated!

Never felt that.
To my best knowledge, I have never felt anything regarding the cuff or my vagina except in the very first few days home from the hospital, I disturbed the cuff during a particularly difficult BM. Only reason I know that is because I immediately developed a bloody discharge after it had stopped. Only lasted a few days, thankfully. Even then had no pain in the area.
I am really not aware of any of the internal organs right now, just the healing that continues to take place within the incision site.
Let us know what your dr. says. - Are you overdoing it? You are very early in your recovery.

I actually feel something like that when I sit to use the washroom! It is a strange feeling LOL! The Dr said though that everything was perfect. I don't have it when I just sit down like on a chair (that I've noticed), but definitely when I go to use the washroom. It used to scare me because I thought something was opening or falling out! I still don't know what it is, but I think it's with the healing process and the cuff.

Funny feeling
Thanks so much, ladies! I'm not panicking but it's nice to know I'm not crazy either.
Could be it has something to do with the bowel thing but thankfully I haven't had any real trouble. Or maybe it's just that I'm overdoing even on the up-and-down from the couch thing!
Anyway like I said I'll definitely ask the about it and see what she says. I'm guessing this is normal, though.
