15 Days Post Hysterectomy - Hot, Cold & Sick Feeling

I am 15 days post op and last night I was sick. I woke up at about 11pm feeling very nauseous. I kept feeling hot one minute & freezing the next. I took my temperature and it was normal. This lasted about 20-25 minutes and it was the worst I've felt since surgery. All through the night I kept waking up feeling hot & sick. This morning I am so tired & have no energy whatsoever.
I had my uterus, cervix & tubes removed but kept both ovaries. I am not sure if this is normal or not. I plan to call my doctor today to see what she says. I'm just wondering if anyone else has had this happen to them.

I'm having the same symptoms and I'm 11 days post-op. I was told I may still have my premenstral symptoms (which are similar to flu-like symptoms). I'm also experiencing hot flashes and night/day sweats...I have bloodwork tomorrow to check my levels as ovaries might be in shock from the surgery and could take a couple of months for them to bounce back. I have been feeling pretty good otherwise!!!

Same here, but I'm 23 days out. I was told my estrogen was too low & am now taking more. I don't have as many hot flashes / night sweats, but I still wake up all the time. I'm so exhausted. My doctor says this will pass.

Same here. I was feeling great and then yesterday I hit a wall. I feel like I have the flu. No temp, so I'm guessing it's just part of the process. I'm back to classes full time and evening mommy duty, I'm guessing I'm just doing too much.
