Dear Ferrin...

Missed m/c= missed miscarriage (when the fetus dies, but the pregnancy carries on as you don't realise anything's gone wrong...),
EP= Ectopic Pregnancy(when the fetus grows outside the womb-usually in the Fallopean tube), which had to be removed surgically and the tube in which they grew...

Thanks for your good wishes.

Got a date!!!

Hi there Ferrin,

Yes the wait was long for my appt. but it was better than booking the surgery. I had my appt. with my Dr. on Aug. 4th and he said to go ahead and book with the receptionist... Well, he was booking into January! I said I couldn't wait 5+ months and asked if there was anything else they could do. So then I got put on the cancellation list since I was able to come in on short notice.
To top it all off I got a pretty good job offer right after the appt.(very casual, pick my own shifts). I explained everything to my new boss and that I could be gone with only 48hrs notice and she said it was quite alright. I phoned the Dr's office to see if I could schedule for Jan. anyway just to give my boss proper notice and they were now booking into March!!! This was only a week after the other visit!!! So for me 3 months isn't as bad as having to wait 7 months! It was crazy!
