Surgery Postphoned : (

So I got all prepared to go for Surgery, tomorrow July 25th and I get a call from my doctors office Friday morning and my surgery has been postphoned. Unfortunately my doctor had a death in the family and will be gone next week. I won't know until Mon/Tues when I'll be rescheduled for. What a big let down and I even gave my leftover tampons to a friend as I never thought I'd need them again! Looks like it's back to the store for me for supplies for possibly another round with my "friend". Not sure if anyone already scheduled had this happen to them. I do wish all that are having their procedures done next week the best of luck. I'll repost my new date when I get it. I hope it's within the next couple of weeks.

Oh Sweetie, i'm so sorry! i had that happen to me last week!!!!! but on thursday they gave me my original date back. i hope its not a long wait.
i know how you feel though, i was soooooooooooo mad!

I hope they get you re-scheduled real soon.

If it's any consolation, many of your sisters have also had problems such as this. I know it would have been really tough for me to have my date switched, though. You get all prepared and focused on a certain date.... Here's hoping this is resolved for you and you get right back on the doc's schedule as soon as he can get back to work.
