Sexual Dysfunction

Hello all:

Since I am not 6+ months after surgery I can not post in the Sexual Dysfunction forum, so I am posting my question here.

Have any of you expericenced this. What is happening to me is this: Sex is better because of no more pain, but I don't feel as though my clitoral area is as sensitive anymore. It takes me awhile to reach an orgasm and then when I do it's not as strong as it once was.

Should I talk to the dr.? Have any of you talked to your drs. about this if you experienced this type of problem?

Thank you in advance for your time.

Susie.

Definitely talk to your Dr. If you've started or changed any meds, that would be an easy fix.

I also feel new sensations, but my O's are less intense. Getting back slowly into my sex life.

I'm not trying to be too personal or get in your business. But I know that some anti-depressants and blood pressure meds affect sensitivity, if that applies to you. Regardless, a good Dr. would listen and try to help a loss of or diminished sensation in any part of the body. Hope you get answers.

Sexual Dysfunction

I didn't know that a HysterSister has to be 6+ months post-op to post on the Sexual Dysfunction board, but I take that as an interesting & useful reminder that it takes a long time before we figure out what our "new normal" will be when it comes to sex! In some ways I feel like I need to get to know my body again, and how I feel now is not necessarily how I will feel 6 months or 1 year or 2 years in the future...
