Almost 7 weeks post op and have clear discharge?

I am almost 7 weeks post op and I have clear discharge is that normal? I just figured once the uterus was gone and no period you had no discharge

Feeling fine no fever, swelly belly still active though but that could be because I am back to work.

Re: Almost 7 weeks post op and have clear discharge?

I am only 3 weeks post op, but experiencing the clear discharge as well.

I'll be interested to hear if anyone else has had this.

Re: Almost 7 weeks post op and have clear discharge?

Strictly from what I've read through various online sites and adding some personal experience with it.
The cervix is the part up in there, responsible for the secretions/discharge/lubrication, etc. Normally, a woman has some discharge throughout the day. Sometimes it increases during ovulation. It should be clear or possibly with a slight creamy coloration, should not have a foul odor. If the coloration or odor are otherwise, it could indicate an infection of some sort.
This discharge is different than discharge during your period.

Dryness issues after hysterectomy are often attributed to situations where the cervix has been taken.

Now, on a personal level, I've always had some discharge. It has increased since my LSH. It freaks me out sometimes, because it feels like I've had bloody discharge for my period. But thankfully, it's never been that.

If you are concerned, make an appointment to have it checked out or maybe call the nurse for your doc and ask questions.

Thanks for that info the discharge does not smell but it's interesting since I don't have the cervix. I'll probably call me doctor just to be on the safe side.
