Vaginal pain and symptoms similar to UTI's

HELP! I am losing my mind. I have had for the last 6 months symptoms similar to a UTai but it's not. A yeast infection - not. Burning pain and the feeling you need to urinate but without that excruciating bladder squeezing pain. It comes up at bad times....right before a job interview....while traveling and it makes it miserable. You don't want to sit as it makes it more uncomfortable. And sex is excruciating when it's happening.

It's been quite a few years post op and I went from synthetics to bioidenticals almost a year ago.

Had an ultrasound and all sorts of tests all normal. Sigh ....

Your symptoms sound very similar to my friend's. she had been diagnosed with interstitial cystitis, a painful, chronic bladder condition. Please make an appointment with a urologist. Through diet, meditation (stress really aggravates it) and medication, she had been able to control it. I hope you get some relief.

I was going to say it sounds like interstitial cystitis, too. I have a lot of auto immune/chronic pain issues. A physiatrist I'm seeing for SI joint issues thinks I have IC. He recommended staying away from all citrus and nightshades (peppers, tomatoes).

I have IC of the bladder. I went to all sorts of specialists and had all sorts of tests before it was found. They ran a test on me to see if I had it and it was a clear positive!
