Re: Pads or not?
Like everything else here, it depends. I have observed many women needing pads - but personally, I haven't needed a single one. I had a LSV on the 16th, and the only discharge I have seen was a slight pink spot when I had my first BM this morning.
I was prepared - but I haven't used a single one.
You may want to check the threads of women who have had a TAH - maybe keeping the cervix & not having a vaginal cuff is the difference?

Re: Pads or not?
Hi
I had a SAH and really haven't bled at all. The tiniest speck on the tissue the first time I went to the bathroom but no blood on a pad.
And I bought tons of them too!! Like many other women, having bled heavily daily I could hardly believe I wasn't bleeding so wore them 'just in case' for the first fortnight. I have now not worn one for a week and I am just beginning to trust my body.
Having said that - I DID find a use for them... my scar had a small area that wasn't healing well and was being rubbed by any fabric over it... I used pads lengthways across my scar to protect it
Still got tons of pads left over though - and some really brilliant ones I was thinking were going to be so great...
Keep some just in case

Re: Pads or not?
I would have them just in case. I did need them for 5 weeks because of mild spotting. Good luck with everything.

Re: Pads or not?
I wore pantiliners for the first week. My spotting was so light that I only saw it when I wiped....it never even made it to the pad. I had one day where it made it to the pad and I also had a few suture pieces come out. That was just one day and then it was back to super light again. I stopped wearing pads after the first week since I was throwing away pads without a mark on them! LOL

Re: Pads or not?
I am still spotting I had the robotic surgery and everything was taken. But then again, I am WAY OVER doing it. I bought two packs of the liners and used one pack of them so far.

Re: Pads or not?
Take them just in case. You will want your own as opposed to the nig ones they have

Keep some on hand just in case. I needed them for a little over 2 weeks with very light spotting,

Re: Pads or not?
I would keep some on hand. I just got home and am experiencing light spotting. My DH bought a 3 month supply HAHA, so I will have plenty left I am sure but better to be safe than sorry
