The Incision

Ladies,
Has anyone any advice about what type of care I should
give my soon to be abdominal incision? Has anyone used
Mederma? I was told sub-q sutures and steri-strips make for
a fine and inoffensive scar. I'm worried about the inside but
I'm worried about the outside too. My castle date is December 24.

Please talk to your doctor about this -- mine said nothing but hydrogen peroxide for cleaning (no lotions because they can cause infection) ---

Hi, my dr gave me a list of info and instructions as I was being discharged from the hospital after my surgery. They included care for my incision , baths, etc. I think you should mention your concerns to your dr and follow his/her instructions. Each person and dr are different so what works for one may not be ideal for another. Good luck and lots of s
