Here's how it works:

1. Reply to this thread.
2. Tell us: If you could be anyone for a day, who would it be and why?
3. Give us the scoop on who and why!

Monday, September 3rd we will choose 1 winner at random.

This Week's Prize:

(Photo and link to be posted!)

The HysterSisters Gift Set consists of: the new HysterSisters tumbler, tote bag, notecards and pen!

This is our final week for our 14th Birthday Contests!

How to enter contest:

Reply to this thread telling us – If you could be anyone for the day, who would it be and why?

Multiple Winners Selected:

Every Monday - at random - I will use the randomizer to select a post as a winner. I'll reply on the thread to announce a winner - and we will continue on throughout August with a new contest thread each week!

And because my attorney requires the rules: This contest is void where prohibited by law. Your chance to win is based on the number of participating member's replies. ETA: HysterSisters.com staff members are not eligible to win a prize but we invite them to participate in this thread!

Okie, let's get started!

NOTE: Replies that do not follow contest rules will be removed. In other words, please reply only with your response

Re: CONTEST - Final Week Birthday Contest!

I would like to Dr Bralzton he is an expert on infants and children behavior and the enviroments that they live in. Hystersisters has it its checkpoints he has his touchpoints that each human being should have to have to survive in it life. I have worked for many years with children from the ages of six weeks to five years old and have seen how important that all people need to have certian touches in their life to be a healthy person. But not all can be lost if they should not have these experinces, with care of early interventions and caring people in a persons life can turn it all around. Hope this what you wanted to have for a reply as this what I feel this as a goal in my life to be a caring person who listens and does not judge anyone who does not have the priorities the same as mine.

Re: CONTEST - Final Week Birthday Contest!

I would be Mother Theresa. She gave of herself to those less fortunate without thought to her own wants and needs. Her spirit of selflessness is not often seen in our society. Her life spoke of her heart. I am not of her faith, yet I know she was doing what she should be doing when she should be doing it.

My mother....she is the most caring, non judgemental, selfless person I know...and also the most maternal...she treats everyone like they are her children...even if they are older than her

Re: CONTEST - Final Week Birthday Contest!

I'd like to be the Dalai Lama. I would like to gain some of his spiritual insight. One of my favorite quotes is" Love and compassion are necessities, not luxuries. Without them humanity cannot survive." The spirit of this is found within the HysterSisters support community and was very helpful and meaningful to me when undergoing my hysterectomy.

Re: CONTEST - Final Week Birthday Contest!

If I could be anyone ... I would be... me. I have the teachings of my beloved granddaddy in me. He taught me that people ate a walking living testimony of their lives and not to pass judgment, because we don't know the path of life God wanted them to walk. He was my rock of life. He taught to appreciate the big and small things in life. He told me that I am an original and no one can be me. So even though my life was hard growing up... I am glad I had that life. I may not be the person I am today. Thank you Pappy for always believing in me. And making me the woman i am today :-)12/31/1935 - 08/15/2003

Re: CONTEST - Final Week Birthday Contest!

If I could be anyone for a single day, I would choose to be my mom when she was around 15. Her mom passes away when she was 19 and this was right before she got sick. Obviously, I never got to meet my grandma and all the stories I have heard was that she was a wonderful woman, mom, human being and friend. I would love to be able to spend just one day with her and meet the woman who made my mom who she is today.

If i could be anyone i would have to say my father. I would like to be him because he has patients that seem to never end, he is compassionate and helps everyone he knows without thinking about it.
