Having Surgery Tomorrow

Im not feeling as nervous as I was earlier, which was really really bad nervous, but that may change once I hit the bed, Im trying to stay positive though. Btw, Im having a laparascopic supercervical hysterectomy, not sure how to abbreviate things on here. Ill post my status later. Thanks for all the support! I go in at 9 am and my surgery should be not long after that. I was hoping it would be earlier because I cant eat or drink but again, just trying to stay positive and not think about it.

Fashionablyme - We are here for you, sweetie. I know this is a very tough time. And, it is okay if you are nervous. It is very normal. After all, this is MAJOR SURGERY. All of the doctors and nurses will take very good care of you. And we will be waiting for you on the other side. We will help you through this.

thanks. Well i was right the nerves got me last night ive been up atleast every 30 minutes and up extra early this morning. Ive never ever had surgery. And i realized last night after i watched them actuallt take the uterus out on youtube how badit hurt me that they will be taking mine. But i know i cant live this way. It still hurts. But im really really nervous now and really thirsty!

Thirst is the hardest pre-op, ive always thought. Enjoy those ice chips in recovery! Best wishes during todays surgery - make sure you give us an update afterward!
