No Date: 2nd Endometrioma

One year ago May 8th I had my left ovary, tube and 18cm endometrioma removed through open abdominal surgery. It was a tough recovery with a pulled muscle 3 weeks post op.

Now I have a 3cm cyst on my right ovary and facing surgery again! GYN didn't think it would happen. May 10 will discuss type of surgery. Understand why uterus and right ovary left last year but wish it had all been taken out.

Need some an encouraging words. Hope the surgery can be lap but GYN not sure. Also assuming this is another endometrioma not ovarian cancer. Last year this site was a lifesaver for me.

Are you expecting that your uterus will be removed with this surgery? Or will the be attempting to remove just the cyst?
