Bowel Movements/Gas?

Hello sisters,
I had my TAH/BSO on Oct 22nd and came home yesterday. I had my first BM last night and one today. I am on stool softeners. I have ab pain from gas and pressure and am wondering what is normal after surgery? Is there any diet that helps? Any pointers? Thanks!!!

Sorry to hear you are in pain. The key for me was to move, move, move. That worked out a lot of the gas. I was in the castle for 5 days, and doing laps on the 2nd. There are also otc products that can help. I haven't been eating much so I can't help on the diet. Stay positive and I hope you feel well soon!
