5 to 6 weeks post-op TAH

Had TAH (vertical incision) on 2/28. My left side is only sore. My right side feels totally different, with mild pain and internal pulling. The pain is felt whenever I go from sitting to standing, and vice-versa. Can't sit very long without mild to moderate pulling pain on the right side. Internal organs were stuck together from prior endometriosis... Any thoughts?

I am guessing (not a doctor) that this is standard pain for you right now. I had the same (vert) and I have one side that is much more tender than the other... I am a month ahead of you and just now got real jeans on for the first time and then only for 2 hrs. The zipper plat will lay right on your incision line... Talk about pain. I wear stretch jeans to work for now.. I would call the doc if the pain becomes intense or worsens... Good luck and happy healing.

before you --horizontal incision. I still feel discomfort on both sides of my incision. By the evening is when it bothers me most.
