2nd opinion questions and needed feedback.

There are so many things circling in my head and I got most of them down on paper and hoping others can contribute to my list.

My main gyno (that is a fertility specialist) wants to remove everything... have Endometriosis (have had 2 surgeries and this was the secondary issue with both), and a new diagnosis of Adenomyosis which is why I need the hysterectomy.

The "questions" I have written down aren't necessarily questions, but points I want to touch base on and see where this guy sees things. It is as follows:

Ovaries
HRT and Endo
Cervix Removal?
Post Op vaginal dryness
IBS
LIBIDO!!!!!!
Surgical scars

Something else I have a question about, and worried that he will send me somewhere else... when I awoke from my first surgery, I had NO FEELING in the top of my left thigh. As feeling has come back, it is only a pain sensation, and nothing else.
The second surgery seems to have made it worse... and as the weeks have progressed, my left foot/ankle hurts to move. I am wondering if this is nerve damage caused by the surgery or if it could be endo that has spread to nerves it shouldn't have?

I also have other pains in my torso that I can't exactly explain, but my regular gyno says that Adenomyosis has that affect to "throw pain" to other areas.

Thoughts? Suggestions? Help!

Re: 2nd opinion questions and needed feedback.

Make sure you ask all your questions at your 2nd opinion appointment. I would definitely get his opinion of the other pains your having also. The more prepared you are the better your appointment will go.There is absolutely nothing wrong with being over prepared. This is major surgery and it's scary! Good luck to you!
