Same Office, Different Methods

After an hour long appt with my gyn today, I am completely comfortable with this surgery and the skills of my gyn. She answered all of my questions and concerns and always has the greatest bedside manner.

The one thing that stands out for me making the right decision with my Dr is that she said her partner asks her why she spends so much time doing the Davinci Robotic Surgeries when she could be in the office making more $. Really??? My Dr's answer though " was because these are my patients and this is their life in my hands". She says it is more delicate and it does take more time, but has much better outcomes for her patients.

Just goes to show you that even within the same practice, their thoughts and methods are completely different. Ask questions ladies, it can help calm your nerves.
