Day 5, first day home...this is rugged

I was ok in hospital and came home today. Longish walk to the car, short drive home. Unpacked a few things then sat for 1 hr. Now everytime I get up to walk its worst than in the hospital. I'm still taking voltarin and Panadol... Why???

I am 3 weeks post and still struggle sitting up more than 40 mins. Maybe the 1hr was too much. Try to take it easy and check out check points. There's an article a out sitting - not sure how to link from the app

After getting home, it did seem to get worse. I guess all of the meds wore off from the hospital. I am two weeks post OP. Still get a little tired. Listen to your body. If you're tired then lie down. Walk as much as possible and take your pain meds as needed. I used an ice pack when I got too sore. Good luck to you.

I'm 5 days post op too and the ice pack is my savior. I found out I'm allergic to almost every pain med available. Learning to be patient with myself and love my ice packs. Best wishes. The worst is over.
