4 weeks post op vaginal pain
I woke up this morning on my 4 week aniv. of LSH....felt awesome.mentally and physically, like it was the old me ,presurgery. So i did some very light housework, tidying up, light dusting and put in a load of wash. Then i proceeded to go to the gym where i walked on the treadmill for 30 min at 2.3 mph. then went on the recumbent bike for 15 minutes. After returning home i was still feeling in the awesome mode, not wanting to sit home all afternoon , i went to the mall. After walking around for about 30 minutes i started feeling faint, by the time i got home my crotch was killing me. Still is. I'm so afraid i did something !
Just to rewind a little i've been walking since 1 week post op. slow walk around the block with my 2 shihtzus, about .7 mile. Also had a bladder infection last week and was sick around 6 days on cipro 5. When i saw my doctor this past Monday she said the walking is great and i should keep it up.
Anyway i'm so paranoid about prolapse and my entire perinium is kiiling me. (interesting my pelvic area not hurting)
Its so hard to know how far we can push ourselves, I know i'm sick of recovery mode and really want to get on with my life. My doctor reminded me on Monday that i still had major, major surgery inside even though my insisions are small on the outside, and that it is still a 4-6 week recovery.
Sorry this is long, just curious has anyone else got the severe crotch pain after overdoing it?

Re: 4 weeks post op vaginal pain
Yes, I did. Sounds like you over did it just a bit. The walking probably not bad but in same day also shopping and exercise equipment probably a bit much. Try to rest and just walk for a few days.
