9 days till my surgery.. I am really scared now.

Caraab- wow... That is really something to think about before going into surgery... I am happy that your dr was able to do the davinci for you! I guess my issue is knowing that an abdominal will cause me to have a longer recovery time- I am a police officer and my belt is what causes my problems. The pressure on my mid section is sooo painful. And this is the quickest that we could schedule the surgery. I can care less about scars- I Don't want to have to put my belt back on that incision.

helloooo to everyone... I wanted to update you all by letting you know that my my surgery went great. The Doctors worked hard at making it a LAVH... I was so happy.. I thanked the Lord thru the oxygen mask!!!! I have had a great recovery so far... This is been the best site and the best information ever!!

Great news about your surgery! I am so glad that they were able to do the LAVH. Just remember that they call this less invasive surgery but you still have alot of healing to go through. Take it slow and easy. Enjoy the good days you have and live through the not so good ones knowing that each day will bring you closer to healing. I am so happy for you! Almost 4 weeks for me and I am feeling great! Hope you continue a speedy recovery. Cheryl
