hello! thought i would give posting a try!
TAH-BSO 4/19...home since friday.
soooooo happy the hard stuff is over!
each day i feel better. besides the usual side effects that i am reading- are common in most of us.
i was a bit nervous about the "GAS" that i was supposed to have experienced in the hospital. it was a challenge for me while in there. i had to work hard at having it! i couldn't wait to get home.
since being at home it's still challenging! eating lots of whole grains, fruit, drinking water, walking, using heat pack & ice pack. have taken metimucil. sent the boyfriend to the store for stool softeners & milk of magnesia(not tried yet).....they say it does get better!!
OK anyway...i am happy to be here
! just thought i would post... get tired sitting here with my laptop. think i will go outside, sit on the deck in the sunshine and eat a late lunch, before my next pain med!!!
