I'm still stuck with my periods until I talk to my doctor. I'm sure Friday we will green light the hysterectomy.
For now, I have these sneaky periods. They arrive 3.5 weeks apart and last four days. A couple heavy days and couple light days and then gone again.
But just try and plan something or go out unprepared. Four times this year I've been sneak attacked. I would be standing there and suddenly this huge gusher just erupts. There is no way of stopping it or having enough supplies. After 30 minutes or so, it disappears again. Psych!
This happened six consecutive days May 1-6. I call them the "Episodes". May was my fourth time of having a group of Episode days. I'll spare you the details but it's like being in prison. I can tell many of you know what I'm saying. That's why I went to the doctor and that's how I ended up having the ultrasound.
Well now that my giant fibroid is revealed, it cannot hide anymore.
I've had two uneventful 4-day periods since May.
Now I'm just waiting for the next card to be played.
Who will win this round? Me or Thing?
Thing, you are going down!
