Mag. Citrate, Help!

Any great suggestions on how to get this mess down easier? It tastes and smells like lemon household cleaner! It burns from my throat to my tummy doing down. There has to be an easier way.

Re: Mag. Citrate, Help!

Have you tried it with Gatorade or Sprite? Get a straw and slurp it down. That's the only way I can get it to work for me!

Re: Mag. Citrate, Help!

I know there are 'flavors' you can get, but nothing really makes it taste better. Last time I had to use it (just after college, 10 years ago), I know I contemplated beer bombing it, just so I wouldn't have to taste it. Thankful my doctor was nice for this surgery, just no food for 24 hours before and a fleet that my DH is going to have to help with.

Re: Mag. Citrate, Help!

I got the grape flavor... It tasted like I had a bunch of grape war heads on my mouth. I then drank a bunch of orange gatorade and it was not that bad. The worst part is the wicked watereha as I called it. I felt so bad by morning they couldn't start an iv due to dehydration. By careful and drink lots and lots and lots of water!!

Re: Mag. Citrate, Help!

The only flavor walmart had was lemon. Its horrible!! LOL
I almost thought about making one of my boxes of jello up with it so it would just slide down, but too late for that.

I bought up some gatorade to keep me hydrated, may try mixing it together. I got half a bottle down and within 30 minutes its already hitting me UGH
