yes. that's a good thing - my nurse told me (as I was having my catheter removed) means your bladder is waking back up and getting ready to not need the catheter!

I really had very little sensation down there. After being prolapsed totally out of my body, I think my bladder decided to just take a long nap. I have heard other sisters say the felt like they needed to pee while still being cathed. The only real issue I had was the plug in my bag came unplugged. Have to laugh about that one now!

Yes, I still have that urge sometimes. You're definitely right about the fact that it makes you slow down. I'm carrying the bag in one hand and a make-shift shield to keep my dogs from jumping on me in the other. I'm sure I look hilarious!
