"update"

Hi everyone ,
Just wanted to let you know that my castle visit is March 10th.I had my appt. with my gyn today and we decided to go ahead with the hysterectomy.He asked me how soon did i want it done and i said as soon as possible.... and so this Monday is the big day...YEA.." I know that i sound excited and i guess i really am.I have suffered a lot of years with this and i didn't know what the problem was until this past June.Thank goodness i don't have to deal with this much longer.The past month has been really tough on me and my DH.But it will soon be all over.I'm having my last period now and it is just like some of the sisters have said,it's kind of sad knowing it is your last. It's like saying farewell to an old friend.But Happy Days are on the horizon.I go for my pre-op tomorrow.Now i have to get things in order with house and family so i will keep you posted.Until next time...Hugs to all my sisters.

Jean Ann, I just wanted to wish you the best. It sounded in your last post that you had tried the options and had finally had enough. It does come down to "quality of life".

Endo is a tough one and I hope your surgery will give you the relief you deserve. Thanks for giving us an update. Now that your decision is made and your surgery is soon...you will be very busy preparing. May the time go quickly and the surgery be all you hope for.
