no doctor rapport

Hi everyone. I've been checking out this site for about a month now and know just about all I need to know for my tah on june 8. Unfortunately, I still have major jitters. My gynecologist is not really personable. I did have fibroids, then disappeared, endo has been mentioned, but I don't seem to get a firm diagonosis of anything. I have pain 24/7, but the dr. can't imagine what is causing it?? This was not the dr. of my choice, but the quickest was I could get into see. He did a tubal ligation 12 yrs. ago, so he's not a total stranger, but I just feel that he thinks I'm imagining this pain. Anyone else with the same experience?

Hi SherryC and Jodycolleen Welcome to Hyster Sisters. It really is a wonderful place.

Sherry: if you are having doubts, please try and get a second opinion. This surgery is hard enough when you know WHY you're having it. Being informed and confident helped me a lot in heading in the OR with an unexpected calm.

Jodycolleen: what you are feeling is normal. After all, this is a MAJOR surgery. That's why we say the waiting is the worst part.

If you need to discuss issues in real time, please check in the Chat Room. There are usually and ready to lend a helping hand.

Best wishes. We'll be right there with you every step of the way.

Sherri

You will be fine, those pre jitters are normal so I have been told.I know it is frustrating when a doctor does not have a good bed side manner. What about there surgery style. Is he or she a good surgeon. That would bother me more than the bed side manner thing.

Take care
