After Swelly Belly - improved shape from pre-op days?

For those who had an enlarged uterus, after swelly belly subsided, did you notice a change in your shape from your pre-op days? I've read many posts about uterus size of double or triple or that of a 5 month pregnancy and just wondered about those bellies post-swelly belly.

I guess that I'm just hoping that lack of the enlarged organ will help decrease the size of my already swelled belly.

I will anxiously await replies to this also. I am hoping to lose an inch or two.

I hope to reduce the size of mine also! lol I have looked pregnant for long enough da**it!

before sugery I was down able to wear a couple of skirts and 1 pair of pants-a very limited wardrobe and of course I'd started wearing longinsh sweaters to hid my huge tummy!

Just yesterday I(with a huge smile)was pointing out to a co-worker that I had on a belted pair of slacks with a turtle neck tucked in : )

My tummy is still a little flabby, my mom says it looks like the loose flab after someone's had a baby. It's amamzing how much room a 2 1/4lb tumor takes up in the pelvic area.

Although the best part of being at 100% again is I feel like a new person both physically & emotionally. It still amazes me how badly I felt pre-op!

I agree i have an enlarged uterus due to adenomyosis I also look about 4 to 5 months pregnant. I'm hoping after surgery it will go down Some.
