2 weeks post laparoscopic hysterectomy: concerned

It's been 2 wks after my laparoscopic surgery and I have redness around my belly button and very swollen should I be worry

You might call your Drs office and check w/ them.

I had that too. I've cleaned the area with hydrogen peroxide and put a little bit of triple antibiotic ointment near it. I have twin skin from having two very large pregnancies (one with twins) and the belly button area can close up when I sit for too long and get irritated at times. Always a good idea to check in with the doc in case it isn't just an irritation.
