How soon will I be back to work?

I'm scheduled for my LAVH for endo on Nov 17th. I don't have my preop until Oct 25th. But I was wondering how long recovery will be - Thanksgiving will be out - but Christmas is only 5 weeks after my surgery. How will I get all the decorating and shopping done?

My Dr. says six weeks. I'm having mine done on the 22nd of this month and like you, I'm sitting around trying to figure out how I'm going to get so many things done. Getting the kids to school is the hardest because they tell you not to drive.

I'm in on Nov 15th and already have decided that all Christmas shopping this year will be done online - that way I can be sure that it will get done.

mine dates getting closer by the hour 13th sep tah bso and im not sure when i can go back to work i do child care in my own home where i look after 4children under 5 id like to go back at 6 weeks but im afraid of the lifting and they are very energetic 2 and 3 year olds
iv given parent 8 weeks but rearly love to go back as soon as i can
im having a bikini line cut just worried about stitches as such

I am up for a LAVH w/ ant repair on Sept 25. I have a 75 mile commute to/from work. My doc says 3 - 6 weeks before I return.
