major hemorrhoid problems

Thanks to all for your replies

All surely gives me plenty of things to try and get them better and me more comfortable.

I will be trying each until one helps. As of this morning still having really rough time with this thing. Usually when I first get up it isn't bothering me to bad only when I go to pee or bowel movement, but it sure is today just as bad as it was when I went to bed last night.

I am taking a stool softner, that my doc wrote down for me to take.

Thanks Again
Tammy

refrigerated Witch Hazel saturated in some gauze

I had them too after my child was born.. 16 years ago. I was told to use refrigerated Witch Hazel saturated in some gauze and just place it in up in/on the affected area... not only does it keep the area clean since its hard to wipe the area, it cools and cuts the pain for pennies!!! A clean area can heal better/faster!! GOOD LUCK..
