Question about LAVH

I never had children either and my LAVH went well. I did stay 4 days in the hospital...had a fever so kept me a while. I was in the OR about 6 hours cuz I had an asthma attack midway through (the anesthesiologist was wearing so much men's cologne...OH MAN!)..I had my gyn and my oncologist as I had endometrial cancer. But all went very well...a few stitches in the vagina, but nothing that I didn't heal well from. Good luck to you!

Wooo hooo, he said that he will do the LAVH. He did warn that it might be necessary to open me up (because of the location of one of the fibroids) but that he was hoping that was not necessary. I should hear from the surgical coordinator Monday as to when the surgery will be -- probably end of March.
