Never Tried Spanx-Would they help or hurt swelly belly?

5 mths post op tomorrow with huge swelly belly! Grrrr.

My digestion (and annoying unhealed vaginal cuff) is the biggest thing post op. I've had a CT and colonoscopy for distention, cramping, constipation. GI says it is probably just time for things to settle and nerves to re-grow. All tests are normal.

However, I look 5 mths prego. I know I can buy maternity or leggings w/ longer shirts-sweaters. I'm wondering if anyone has tried Spanx? I think they may make things more uncomfy and am hesitant to spend MORE money.

Yet this belly isn't going anywhere. My weight is about the same but wow, the swelling worsens as the day goes on and my normal work clothing-jeans are impossible.

I bought a generic pair and I love them! I would recommend it. Just get the correct size!
