sex dreams after my operation?

Hi there girlfriends.
Its been a week now since the operation. I have been dreaming weird dreams about old boyfriends, and a lot of sexual things. I normally dont dream about that and especially as vivid as this and I am wondering is this part of the healing process???
My tummy is throbbing at the moment while im on the computer I need to lie down so I will check later. I find it hard to find back the posts on this chat. Any help would be appreciated.

I didn't have this at all but over the months I have seen it pop up from time to time on the post op forum.

I am chaulking that up to sleep difficulties! I kinda wish I would have a dream like that, just to reinforce that I am still interested . I wouldnt worry about it! Good luck and take care!

Vivid dreams and sometimes even nightmares are common after any major surgery. The anesthesia during, pain meds after and the trauma of surgery itself can all contribute to it. With a hysterectomy hormone fluctuation can contribute to it too.
An increase in libido is very common, which is hormonal of course. With time all of this usually will moderate itself. I wonder if the sexual nature of some people's dreams aren't connected to that.
To find your old posts you can click on your screen name and then select Find all Posts and you will get a list of all your posts. You can select what you want to look at from there. The post op forum is very busy and moves quickly some days so posts can easily be pages back if you haven't been on in a while.
I had trouble sitting at the computer for very long at first too . You are still very early in your recovery. Rest and let us hear from you when you feel up to it.
