scar tissue?

I had a total hysterectomy on December 9. I had laproscopic and they had to open me up. At the laproscopic site where they did a lot of manipulation, I have a lump the size of a golf ball. In the hospital it was smaller and seemed like a gas pocket. It was squishy. Now its bigger and harder. Dr. said its scar tissue. Will it go away? It protrudes a bit

Re: scar tissue?

Is it right in the middle? Where they put the camera? That is where I had the most pain and a big bump. It seems to get bigger and harder. After I eat. My dr said when the stitcges dissolve it would get smaller, which was true. I'm at almost 6 weeks now and it's not gone completely but it's not huge and freaking me out anymore. I'm going to see him in a couple days I'll ask him more..is your bump anything like this? My stitches were really tight there..

Re: scar tissue?

I believe that is where they put the camera in. Its on my right side. Sounds like the same thing as you. Mine gets bigger when i eat too. It bithers me when i drink soda too! Maybe the gas. Thank you so much for the reply. Let me know how you make out at the Dr.
