Pain in left side since I got back from dr.appt this morning

I went in today 2 weeks post op because dr. wanted to check me since I was bleeding. She said it was just normal blood clots (part of healing process) and since I got home my left side is killing me when I get up from sitting down. Walking around it actually feels pretty good. Hope I don't have to go back tomorrow. It didn't hurt at all when she examined me. I was happy though, because she said I could drive. I hope it's not too soon. I think I will stay at home a few more days...Anybody else have lower pain that is very sharp and then subsides and then comes back in a few minutes. I'm going to bed and see how that works. I had a LAVH and posterior repair.

I have had that at times. Sometimes I think I had overdone it just a little (like walking or sitting up a little more than I was used to) and a few times it turned out to just be gas pain. If it doesn't get better, of course, call her back. But I suspect that some extra rest will take care of it, and you really need that at 2 weeks anyway.

I started driving again at 2 weeks and it was nice. My dr said as long as I wasn't taking any pain pills, it was okay.
