Pain coming from the ovaries?
When I went to my preop I talked my doctor into keeping my ovaries since I have no history of cancer in my family and they have always seemed to be healthy.
One of the reasons I am having the hyst is because along with almost constant bleeding I have almost constant pain in my lower abdomen. I had an ablation done in May and ever since then I have had cramping and this discomfort down low. It is hard to tell exactly what is causing it, but it feels like my uterus hurts.
I have had this nagging question in my mind for a few days now, but sitting through church this morning made me question even more. I had to sit up really straight to try to give my stomach more room because it hurt so badly.
My question is could this pain or even some of it be coming from my ovaries? I don't want to go through this and still be living with pain.
In all my testing and Ultra sound and all there has never been anything found like disease or fibroids or anything. I would appreciate any info anyone has about this. I just don't know much about the ovaries and have never considered them my problem. I still have a week to go and could change my mind if I needed to.
Thanks! Rita
