Exercise..5 weeks post op

How soon can you start back exercising? I am 5 weeks out almost 6 and I want to get some cardio in. Walking,elliptical or stationary bike..

I am on week 6 and I am up to 4.0 miles a day. I actually did 4.5 yesterday outside. I am not race walking but walk at a good pace. Trying to get in as much I can before I go back to work next week.

I am a little sore at nice so I drink lots of water, some advil and prop my feet up. Your body will tell you when you have over done it.

Be careful since all surgeries are different and not sure what was your procedure.
