Struggle with diarrhea 3 months post hysterectomy

I got c diff 3 weeks post op and took 2 rounds of flagyl. C diff free today but still suffer from bouts of diarrhea. Anybody else have sensitive intestinal track after hysterectomy?

Oh my word yes !! 3 months post opp ! And i swear im dying !!! My stomach wont stop ! Every day ! And im breastfeeding so i dont know what to do anymore !!

Antibiotics like flagyl often have the side effect of wiping out the "good" bacteria in your guts that you need for digestion. This can cause diarrhea. Restock by eating yogurt with active cultures, drinking kefir or taking probiotics capsules.

Hi, C Diff is a different level than the regular diahrea. Its best to keep your Dr informed. Yogurt, kefir & probiotic but your Dr may tell you which is best.

BRAT diet when you have diahrea-bananas, rice, aoplesauce & toast.
