Climbing Up and Down Stairs?????

I was able to do stairs. My instructions were to try not to use them more than a couple of times a day. I had no problems and no pain climbing up or going down the stairs. I'm not positive, but I don't think stair climbing is a cause of hematoma. Check with your doctor to get his opinion on stair climbing.

Climbing Up and Down Stairs?????

I was told no stairs for a couple weeks so my dh carried me down in the morning and back up at night. And yes, going from sitting to standing can be a killer!

Also, no vacuuming, moping, bending over a lot, the list goes on! But it was worth it! Check with your dr for your specific instructions based on your health, your surgery, etc. Only your dr knows exactly what he/she is going to cut, staple, tie, sew, etc. so they are in the best position to tell you what you can and can not do.

Best wishes!
