Night sweats?

Hi! Well...after being in the clutches of horrendous cramps, clots and gushing bleeding (and still am) I am NOT canceling surgery... I guess I just needed the reinforcement. <sigh>

Also, #2 Sister called... and I just let her talk... blah blah kids....blah blah pregnant other sister... blah blah... blah ... well gotta go, good bye. I was nice and naturally she didn't ask not ONCE HOW I was doing. Whatever. That's why I am so grateful for all of you wonderful ladies!!!

ANother weird question, did/do any of you have night sweats around your periods with fibroids? Mine seem to be getting worse, but I can't sleep without covers otherwise I freeze!

Hi Lilidiva!! My dad stopped by for dinner last night. Not a word about my surgery tomorrow! My pastor called while he was here, and he could hear my husband on the phone discussing the surgery, and still nothing. I didn't tell him anything. I was not about to remind him. If he cared at all he would have remembered, right?

Oh, well. I'm doing my bowel prep right now - I don't recommend it.

ohhh Sharpie, sorry about the bowel cleansing....I've had to do it three times and I know how much it sucks!!! suggestion.....just sit on the toilet and don't wipe every time....lesss irritation....also, put vaseline on your crack to form a barrier!!!! Good luck......my thoughts are with you my friend!!!! xx

Today's your day for surgery. I am so sorry you are feeling so alone. please connect with these great hyster sisters while you go through this. It is a loss, and an end. My sister had a similar problem with fibroids and could not deal with the constant bleeding. That is why I had a full hysterectomy myself. When my sister had hers, I was devastated. she cannot have children, and I was looking forward to having nieces and nephews. I guess selfish of me. May the wings of an angel hold you up today, and lift your sorrows too. springforward.

lilydiva, I have had night sweats for years, sometimes I wake up and my hair is soaked, have to change my pillow case. this is why I have been waiting for menopause, but at 44 the blood work says- not yet. don't sleep with a down comforter, it holds in the heat. I have also had some success with changing what I eat for dinner (a blood sugar thing), let me know if you want more info.
