Bleeding post op

I had my surgery on 3-21 and I was doing wonderfully. I was back to feeling like my old self with in five days. Two weeks after the surgery, I started bleeding, which would have been in time for my period. The doctor said that can happen since I have my cervix.
Two weeks later I am still bleeding and it is getting heavier and heavier.
Has anyone had the same problems?

have you let your dr know that youve been bleeding for two weeks? if it was a mini period from keeping your cervix and ovaries, it wouldnt last two weeks. if you havent called him, you really should. bleeding and spotting is normal up to 6 weeks but since its getting heavier and heavier, i think it would be smart to call you dr and let him know.
