Bright red blood...3 months post op

Hi there sisters...
I had my vaginal hysterectomy on 12th Nov. Still have both my ovaries in.
I have been swimming since Saturday (just been too hot in Cape Town) and during sex last night I started bleeding very bright red. I was so worried, but I didnt fill a pad in an hour either. Feeling a bit sore on the lower abdomen also since yesterday morning.
Can it maybe be a stitch after all that swimming or what could it be. It is now very light pink to almost clear.

Has this happened to anyone?

It sounds like you've been cleared for a lot and are doing a lot! So it also sounds like you've been doing well. While I'm glad for you that your symptoms are subsiding, bright red blood and lots of it does sound like it warrants a check-in with your doctor! Remember, our docs hear about these things all the time. And we want you well and safe!
