Spotting? 9 Months after surgery

I had my surgery 9 months ago and have not had hardly any problems. But, tonight when I went to the restroom I saw a few spots of blood. Not heavy bleeding, but a few spots and they were bright red so I would think it was new blood and not old. Has anyone ever experienced this? I guess I will call my doctor on Monday morning and ask his opinion. I did keep my ovaries, so maybe a have an ovarian cyst or something causing it.

It may be some unhealed tissue on the vaginal cuff.

It is a good idea you are going to check on it , as any new blood should be looked into.
