Question about ovary function

Hey ladies, I had a question and I knew this was the place. I've read here about waiting for your ovaries to "kick in" or "wake up". It seems there are different lengths of time for different women. I'm wondering how will I know the difference? I had menopause symptoms for the first 2 weeks post op but then they all went away. Now at 7 1/2 wks out I feel wonderful. No night sweats or hot flashes, not overly moody or emotional, no breast problems and no personal moisture problems. I do have some mild insomnia. I noticed a big difference at around 3 weeks out and feel so wonderful now, I just assumed the girls were back at work. Am I wrong?

Question about ovary function

If you're feeling wonderful, I'd assume your ovaries are working fine. Some women will feel some monthly symptoms as they cycle, but not everyone does.

I hope this helps.
