gas pains day 6 after hysterectomy - belly gas and lower back pains
I'm on my 6th day after my surgery and I've been having horrible gas pains but not in my shoulders but in my belly and going into my lower back. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do to relieve them?

Gas pains were the toughest, but they started to get a lot better after 5-6 days, and bowel movements began. I would suggest using stool softeners, milk of magnesia, hot tea ( or any warm liquids) and lots of water!! It does get better!
