Posterior repair for rectocele

I tried to post this to the post op people but it wouldnt let me. I will be having a LAVH with posterior repair. I was just wondering how sore I am really gonna be. I just hate going into something blind. I do know there will be stitches on the outside like an episiotomy and up inside the backside of my vagina. I am just wondering how much discomfort this causes and how walking and even getting in the car to go home from the hospital will feel. Any tips to lessen the pain in that area? Need to know what to buy before I go in the hospital. My bf is a truck driver and will be away during the week and will only have him available to run to the store on the weekends

I want to know, also. I am having a rectocele repair with my TLH and I am also concerned about it.
