Sex- feel different or same after hysterectomy?

Just curious if sex feels different after hysterectomy? If cervix is removed, can sex be less enjoyable?

For me it feels different but I feel that I am still recovering and it will get better. My orgasm used to involve my uterus contracting so that obviously doesn't happen anymore. I still have some discomfort at my vaginal cuff too. Also after sex I feel kind of achy or crampy for a little while. Still glad that I had this surgery and happy with the results.

My first times were strange. Seemed cut short. In retrospect, I think I was very nervous.
After about 10 weeks, we went away for the weekend and everything was 100% like before, in a good way! And I no longer "felt " my uterus being bumped, which is a good thing.
Now 4 1/2 months out, I am 100%. Perfect.
I was obviously concerned, as you are as well. I have my cervix but I don't believe that changes my sensation. I do think that although I could have sex 2 weeks after surgery, it was ok, but not really great till I was a little further healed.

It is different. I can tell that my cervix is gone. It was strange the first few times because it is shorter in there but now it's amazing! I don't miss my uterus at all.

No cervix here and it's even better then before! Was nervous too but waited 10 weeks and then gave it a try. No more cramping afterward and just better :-) hope that this helps.

Yes I can it's kind of scary at first plus you can feel everything I didn't do it all the way because it's soo tight oral sex for me is better also the os I have been having are harder more intense very yummy for now that's good enough
