I think the meds are working :)

I have now been taking Mobicox for my arthritis since Friday night. Until yesterday, I had serious doubts that this was the answer: the meds were causing lots and lots of drowsiness, the inflamation would be down in the morning but would be flaring back up by mid-afternoon and the pain was sharper!!!

Yesterday, I was really, really dragging myself all day, til about 3 pm. And I needed sugar to keep me going (yeah, real good for my new waste line ). However, the pain was less obvious.

Since late yesterday afternoon, I've noticed that my energy level is back to normal. And I'm sure the meds are helping with the pain: it's hot and humid right now and the stress level has been very high for the past few days. The RA would have normally flared up in such conditions. It hasn't. The pain is there, but totally manageable.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this is the way it will continue and that I'll soon be able to resume the walks I so enjoy.
