Hysterectomy: June 30th, 2005

Surgery Type: TAH

Ovaries: Removed both

Stem cell research

My mom e-mailed me this morning and suggested that if I am unable to keep my ovaries, that I look into donating them for stem cell research. I told her that's a GREAT idea. It may be too late for me, since my hyster is Thursday, but if I can always let other people know in case they want to. My direct supervisor said she wishes my mom would have thought of that 3 years ago because she would have checked into donating hers!
