Allergic to narcotics!!!!!

Doctor gave me 10mg of Valium instead of 5mg and 800 Ibuprofren. Newsflash: Valium can be used as a pain med b/c it's a smooth muscle relaxant!!!! So far seems to be working. I also discovered this cool stuff by my chiro/naturopath called biofreeze which does wonders as well and is non-narcotic!

My doc put something in called a "Qball?" or pain ball. It is a ball of numbing med that flows directly into the source of pain. It comes with a little belt to keep it on. He uses them so patients dont have to rely upon pain meds mainly because it causes constipation.
He said it has been used a lot for other surgeries but it is just now starting to be used for hysterectomy patients.

I think I've seen it as onQ, in case anyone wants to ask about it under another name. I've seen it mentioned a few times.

I had an allerigic reaction to codeine percocet vicodin and darvocet, and was told to take benadryl while taking them. I didnt want to do that so they changed me to a med called Tramadol , it took the edge off the pain and I didnt have to take a ton of motrin
It wasnt like taking a heavy duty pain med but at least it was something.
