dVH/RALH bleeding 2 weeks post hysterectomy - is this normal?

I had DaVinci June 5 th and today I am bleeding and feel like I am on my period. Is this normal? Bright red and brown color blood

Not that I am aware of, I would definitely suggest a visit to the specialist or GP

How much are you bleeding? Is it bright red or just spotting? I would call your doctor's office and get the doc on call to let them know. If you are bleeding over a pad an hour, definitely call them. Lie down, and elevate your legs to see if that helps until your doc calls you. That might help to stop it. Definitely call your doc and if they don't call you back, go to an ER or an urgent clinic. This doesn't sound normal.

Unfortunately, this is normal unless it truly is like a period and you are filling up pads. I am six weeks post op and still bleeding every few days, small amounts. Over the course of things I've had some bleeding that was heavier. I called the doctor each time and I've gone in. He said from the beginning that bleeding (anything less than a period) even if bright red is the exception to the rule but within normal. For piece of mind I would certainly call and keep in mind that you should go to the ER is you fill a pad an hour which is not normal. Hugs to you!

I had bleeding for about 3 weeks. Not major but some. At about 2 weeks i had an increase and was told it could just be stitches were disolving. But if you are concerned i would still call doctor.

My Doc told me I can expect bleeding at the 2 week mark. She said its normal.
